“Sailors Take Warning” is a nautical web series combining puppetry with live-action.
We’ve just entered the editing phase of our project with hopes of an official premier in SEPTEMBER. The footage is beautiful, and I’m so proud of the work we’ve done… but we have a bit of a problem. Despite the $3000 we managed to raise before shooting, the project ended up going over budget. With post-production responsibilities, re-shoots, and marketing materials still on the to-do list, we’re making a call for help.
Sailors Take Warning is asking for Donations. We need help to keep the ball rolling and enable this beautiful project to reach its potential. Any amount is appreciated! Donors will be credited in the film credits and on the website as:

WE MET ISABELLA ROSSELLINI
On the overwhelming and sweet day before our graduation ceremony, filled with giddiness and pride for all of our hard work, the two of us met Isabella Rossellini. She honored us with her time for just a few spare moments… We professed our love and thanked her for being such a fantastic role model. We showed her photographs from our project, Sailors Take Warning. She flipped through our images with care, impressed with our concepts and designs. She seemed to genuinely love it, and we hope she’ll equally enjoy the finished product! We anticipate an official premiere of our first episode by late summer. Thank you so much to all who have supported and helped us throughout this process. We plan to continue with a great attitude and good work ethic. We have more dreams to make come true! Green Porno was a huge influence on this project from its first conception. Each episode is hilarious and sophisticated in a way I could only dream of emulating.
and suprise! Isabella Rosellini, (Writer, director, and star of Green Porno) is the Commencement speaker for our graduating class! Isn’t that amazing!?!?
